Imperfetto - Imperfect

Irregular forms

There are those irregular verbs which have at least some certain regularities and those which are completely irregular.

The following rule can applied:

- if a “g” or “c” should be perserved, an “h” is added, e.g. pagare > paghi
- if a “dsh” or “tsh” should be perserved, an “i” is added, e.g. mangiare > mangia
