Futuro presente

In Italian there is only one form to express the future present.

Example:

	Italian	English
Declarative Sentence	Lavorerà.	He will work.
Negative Declarative Sentence	Non lavorerà.	He will not work.
Question	Lavorerà?	Will he work?

The infinitive is used to form the Futuro Presente. Verbs ending in -are substitute the “a” by an “e”. Verbs in -ere and -ire keep their vowel.
Thereafter the personal ending is added.
The Future Present describes future events.
e.g.
parlare > parler-ò > I will speak
prendere > prender-ò > I will take
finire > finir-ò > I will finish

Usage

Example:

Italian	English
Andrò in città per fare la spesa.	I will go to the city and go shopping.
