Several expressions in the first part of the sentence are followed by the Congiuntivo. In general, the following cluster can be found:
Preceding Expression + che + Expression with Congiuntivo
The Congiuntivo is used to express:
- a wish
- possibilities, insecurities as well as doubts
- feelings: happiness, fear, ...
- expressions of opinion
- expressions of one’s will
