Forms:
The forms of the Congiuntivo Imperfetto are frequently formed by adding the ending -assi, -essi and -issi.
(parlare - to speak; prendere - to take; finire - to finish)

Congiuntivo
The Congiuntivo is used after certain expressions in the preceding phrase. In general the following cluster is used:
Preceding Expression + che + Expression with Congiuntivo

The Congiuntivo is used to express:
- Wishes
- Possibilities and uncertainties as well as doubts
- Feelings: Happiness, fear, ...
- One’s opinion
- One’s will
