Adjectives are usually positioned behind the noun.

Il ragazzo è simpatico.

The boy is nice.

La signora italiana ha comprato una macchina spagnola.

The Italian lady has bought a Spanish car.

La ragazza è simpatica e bionda.

The girl is nice and blond.

 

Some adjectives stand in front of the noun.

Sometimes there is a change of meaning.
