Future Present / Avenir / Future I - j'irai

In French, there are two ways to express the future:

- Futur Simple - rather written and formal
- Futur Composé / Futur Proche - rather colloquial

Both can substitute the other form.

Futur Simple Formation:

For the formation of the Futur Simple you use the Infinitive, delete Infinitive ending and add one of the Future-Personal-Endings (-rai, -ras, -ra, -rons, -rez, -ront):
-er: parler > + rai, ... - to speak
-re: répondre > + rai, ... - to answer
-ir: sentir > + rai, ... - to feel
